Champion League T20 2012 from October 9-28, KKR, CSK, MI, DD to represent India

It is the second time that South Africa is hosting Champions League T20. CLT20 2012 will be played in four venues from October 9 to 28:

• Johannesburg
• Cape Town
• Centurion
• Durban

It was announced by the CLT20 Governing Council.

This is the 4th edition of the Champions League Twenty20 tournament.

14 champion teams from eight countries are taking part in this event.

The teams, which are finalized for CLT20 2012, are:

• Kolkata Knight Riders (India)
• Chennai Super Kings (India)
• Delhi Daredevils (India)
• Mumbai Indians (India)
• Auckland Aces (New Zealand)
• Trinidad and Tobago (West Indies)
• Sydney Sixers (Australia)
• Perth Scorchers (Australia)
• Titans (South Africa)
• Highveld Lions (South Africa)
• Sialkot Stallions (Pakistan)

Pakistan will be first time participating in CLT20 through Sialkot Stallions.

Teams from Sri Lanka and England will be decided later after completion of Sri Lanka Premier League and Friends Life T20.

Mumbai Indians are the defending champion of CLT20.
