RCB vs DC: AB de Villiers and Dilshan thrashed Deccan Chargers

It was 50th match of IPL and was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Deccan Chargers in M Chinnaswamy stadium of Bengaluru. RCB won this high scoring match by 5 wickets thanks to Dilshan and de Villiers mind-boggling innings.

Forced to bat first after loosing the toss Chargers placed a huge total of 181 on the loss of just 2 wickets. Their top 3 batsmen Harris (47), Shikhar Dhawan (73) and Cameron White (45) clicked at the same time.

While the batsmen did it for Deccan this time their bowlers failed miserably even Dale Steyn and couldn't defend such a good score.

Though it was not Gayle storm that hit Deccan but it was other two destructors Dilshan and de Villiers doing the damage. Dilshan laid the foundation by making 71 runs in 54 balls still it needed lot of work down the order to reach huge target. AB de Villiers rose to the occasion and hit 5 fours and 3 sixes taking his total to 47 in just 17 balls and helped his team win.

AB de Villiers was awarded the man of the match trophy for his glittering innings.

Royal Challengers Bangalore marked a 5 wicket win over Deccan Chargers and are now at 5th position with 11 points while Deccan sits last in the table with just 5 points.
