Pakistan is scheduled to test fire its new short-range surface-to-surface ballistic missile equipped with nuclear warhead by the end of this month, Pakistani television Geo TV reported.
According to reports, in a bid to strengthen its missile power to compete its neighbors Pakistan is reportedly getting ready to test its new missile 'Nasr' (Victory in Arabic) most likely on May 28 this year.
Nasr is capable to hit from surface to surface within the range of 180 k.m. with high degree of accuracy, reports added.
The preparation of 'test fire' is almost ready.
According to sources, the Pakistan Army has completed all its preparations to test fire the nuclear-capable, surface-to- surface ballistic missile.
Nasr can carry nuclear warheads and can hit targets with great accuracy, sources said.
This is the third missile test by Pakistani army in last few years as on April 25 Pak army had successfully test-fired an intermediate range nuclear-capable missile, within a week when India tested a 5,000-km range missile 'Agni V'.
