Ice melts between BCCI and PCB; India asks Pak to send a team for CLT20

The cricketing relationship between India and Pakistan is likely to resume soon as the Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI) has soften its stand towards Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and reportedly invited Pak team to play in this years Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20) tournament to be held in October this year.

BCCI on Saturday decided to invite Pak Team to play in Champions League, a twenty20 tournament played by domestic T20 champions of test-playing nations.

This is the first time Pak will visit India after World Cup. Pak team has already missed CLT20’s first three editions.

With this invitation, PCB is hoping to make a strong bilateral tie with BCCI and the cricketing relationships between duos may come into full-fledged state.

Several formers cricketers of India and Pakistan have welcomed the move of BCCI, reports say.
