After the debacle of Congress in the civic body election in Delhi, now the damage control steps is likely to be on cards. Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit who was not ready to admit her govt. responsibility for the loss, has hinted that there is always a possibility for a change.
Sheila Dikshit was commenting on the change of top leadership. However when she was asked about the cabinet reshuffle she ignored firstly saying that when it will be done, informed but further she said that there is always a possibility for a change.
It is noted that Sheila has earlier denied off any loss for the govt. in the debacle of Congress and had said that civic polls were not her election. Although she had said that it was a lesson for the party.
She had said that party will analyse the results and proper action would be taken.
It is noted the Congress was defeated in the recently held civic elections in the capital with the Bharatiya Janata Party retaining power, despite a dip in its overall strength. The party won 138 of the 272 wards in the three newly created municipal corporations, down from 164 in 2007.
