Nupur Talwar has moved to Supreme Court seeking a stay order against the non-boilable warrant issued by a special CBI court. She has approached to the Supreme Court by her lawyer. SC has said that as the case is not listed so it will be heard on Friday.
It is noted that Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had started its searched for Nupur Talwar after a special Ghaziabad court issued the warrant against her for not appearing for hearing of the case.
To get stay on the court decision, Nupur submitted an application before the court through her lawyer. She had to say that since her review petition was to be heard by the Supreme Court on April 27, she could not turn up the court on Wednesday.
Her husband Rajesh Talwar also is an accused in the Arushi murder case appeared before the court.
On the other hand CBI has reiterated that Nupur could be arrested if she found since the special Ghaziabad court had issued the warrant against her for not appearing for a hearing of the case.
It is noted that Nupur and Rajesh Talwar's 14-year-old daughter Aarushi was found dead inside her Noida residence in May 2008 with her throat slit. The body of the Talwars' domestic servant Hemraj, initially a suspect in the case, was recovered from the terrace a day later.
