Contradicting the allegation of Army Chief Gen V K Singh, DRDO chief V K Saraswat today said Tatra trucks were "outstanding" and there is nothing wrong in those.
Adding to contradiction, Saraswat said that there was nothing substandard about Tatra trucks that have also been used as base for launching all important missiles like Prithvi and Agni.
He was responding it at a press conference in Defence Expo in the capital.
Commenting over the performance of the truck, the DRDO chief said that the performance of these vehicles has been good in armed forces and we have no complaints about it.
'If there was any further requirement of these trucks, we will have more of them,' he added. However, he also said that if the government gives direction against using them, DRDO would stop doing so.
