The Delhi high court has directed the Delhi Police to abstain from harassing the northeast and Ladakhi people due to their similarity of faces with the Tibetan who are protesting against the Chinese president Hu Jintao presence in Delhi for BRICS summit.
A division bench of acting chief justice A K Sikri and Justice Rajiv Sahai Endlaw directed the city police to shift the Tibetans from Tihar jail and police station to Ambedkar Bhawan where more than 200 people have been detained by the police for being Tibetan protesters.
