At least 15 people were killed and 40 others were injured when a bomb ripped through a bus stand in Pakistan's northwest tribal region on Monday.
The bombing occurred around 11 a.m. in Jamrud town of Khyber agency in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) along the Afghan border.
The bomb was planted on a vehicle parked at a bus stand in a market area. Geo News put the toll at 17 and the number of injured at more than 50.
The injured were taken to hospitals in Peshawar, 20 km from Jamrud. Some of the are critically injured and the toll may rise.
At least 10 vehicles and many shops near the blast site were destroyed.
TV footage showed smoke rising from the site and ambulances rushing to the place.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
