Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna have defeated Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski in the quarterfinals of BNP Paribas Masters by 6-7(5), 6-3, 10-4 and have entered in the semi-finals.
With this win, Indian duo has also booked a berth in the ATP World Tour Finals in London.
Bhupathi-Bopanna will now face Australian-British combination of Paul Hanley and Jonathan Marray in the semifinals.
These two as a pair will make a debut in the season finale at London
Bhupathi (38) is a four-time runner-up at the London event, losing in the final in 2010 and 1997, 1999 and 2000.
Bopanna (32) played in the London event last year partnering with Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi of Pakistan.
The Indian pairing joined forces this season and have compiled a 29-20 match record.
They won their first title at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships and were runners-up at ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournaments in Cincinnati.
In another quarterfinal match of BNP Paribas Masters 7th seeded Qureshi and Jean-Julien Rojer defeated Max Mirnyi and Daniel Nestor by a 6-3, 6-4 and reached in the semi-finals. They have qualified for the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals
Qureshi and Rojer will now face Marin Cilic and Marcelo Melo in the semifinals.
