Djokovic and Murray in semifinal of World ATP Finals London

Andy Murray defeated Jo-Wilfried Tsonga by 6-2, 7-6 (3) on Friday and reached the semifinal of World ATP Finals with ease.

Andy who was defeated by Novak Djokovic earlier in a group match needed to win one set to reach semifinals, but he easily defeated Tsonga in both the sets and will now have a rematch with Djokovic in semifinal.

Djokovic has already defeated Tomas Berdych by 6-2, 7-6 (6) to reach semifinals.

Murray said, "I didn't know exactly what I needed to do. But obviously when he said that, I kind of realized".

"Then I just asked the umpire at the change of ends after the first set whether I was through or not. Then he said I was. That was it," he added.

Both Djokovic and Murray were in Group A, while Djokovic finished first winning all his 3 matches Murray finished second winning 2 and losing 1.

Djokovic will now have a second go with Murray. He said, "It's not something that I'm afraid of. I know it's incredibly difficult and challenging to beat guys like that back-to-back, but it's doable."

In Group B, Roger Federer has reached semifinals and will face Juan Martin del Potro on Saturday.
