Saina Nehwal has defeated German's Juliane Schenk in the final of Denmark Super Series Badminton Championship by 21-17 and 21-8 on Sunday in Odense in Denmark.
Fourth seeded Nehwal said, "There were a lot of things which I did after Olympics which made me fresh but every tournament is tough. My right knee was not really in perfect shape but I thank God for giving me the energy to win the title".
The final match lasted for just 35 minutes with Saina dominating from the start. She was playing without the chief national coach and her mentor Pullela Gopi Chand.
Saina was awarded $30,000 as price money while runner-up Juliane was awarded $ 15,000. This is her fourth title win of the year.
Saina ranked number four in world badminton defeated world number one China's Yihan Wang in the semi-finals.
Saina won Bronze medal in Olympics 2012 and Gold medal in Commonwealth Games 2010.
