Washington, May 2 (ANI): It seems that Jessica Simpson's few hours old baby, Maxwell Drew Johnson, already has many fans and among her biggest fans are actress mother, former football player father Eric Johnson and her maternal grandmother, Tina Simpson.
While out on a coffee run at an L.A. Starbucks with a group of family members, Tina was overheard gushing about her hours-old granddaughter.
According to a witness, Tina said "Maxwell is so precious and peaceful," Us magazine reported.
The source added that the whole group, which included Ashlee Simpson, Eric's mother and Jessica's assistant, was in a happy mood.
The Simpson-Johnson kin has been sticking close together since arriving at an L.A. hospital early Tuesday morning.
Just hours before Jessica gave birth to her daughter, who weighs 9 lbs. 13 oz. and measures a healthy 21 3/4 inches, the family gathered for a group breakfast.
"The party included Joe and Tina Simpson," another witness said.
"They all sat at a corner table together and were in good spirits. The family was joking about astrological signs and what traits various family members had, and what the new baby could be like. Tina said she felt Jessica was in good spirits while others joked Eric seemed to be the nervous one," the witness added. (ANI)
