Washington, May 2 (ANI): U.S. President Barack Obama's 'April job approval' rating, when U.S. special forces killed Osama bin Laden, has gained the highest level since last May, according to poll.
According to Gallup, Obama has gained the most among independents since his approval reached a low point in August last year, The Politico reports.
Since August, Obama's approval rating has increased 8 points among independents, 7 points among Democrats and 3 points among Republicans.
Gallup also found that independent women approve of the president 46 percent to 42 percent disapproval.
However, despite steady gains in his approval, Obama has a tie with Romney in Gallup's head to head match-ups.
Their Monday survey showed Romney slightly ahead, 47 percent to 46 percent over Obama in a national tracking poll. (ANI)
