New Delhi, May 2 (IANS) It was a warm, sunny morning in the capital Wednesday with the minimum temperature settling at 20.5 degrees Celsius, four notches below the average for the season. The met department forecast a cloudy day ahead.
"The clear sky is likely to become partly cloudy towards afternoon or evening. Maximum and minimum temperature will stay around 38 and 22 degrees Celsius," said an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 62 percent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature was 36 degrees Celsius, three notches below the average for the season, while the minimum temperature was recorded four notches below average at 21 degrees.
