Kathmandu, May 1 (Xinhua-ANI): A bicycle rally is going to be held from Nepali capital Kathmandu to Lumbini on the occasion of Visit Lumbini Year-2012.
The rally will start on May 4 and end on May 6 with the aim of promoting domestic and international tourism, and publicising Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha in southern Nepal.
Napali cyclist Pushkar Shah will spearhead the rally to be organized by the World Cyclists Foundation. Some 150 Nepalis and around 15 foreign cyclists will participate in the rally, which will cover a distance of some 300 kilometers. (Xinhua-ANI)
