London, Apr 29(ANI): Arsenal is convinced double Footballer of the Year Robin Van Persie would stay at the club for a long period.
The Dutch international has one year remaining on his contract, and will discuss his future during the summer, The Daily Star reports.
Arsenal lost Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri last year during the summer transfer window to Barcelona and Manchester City respectively.
The only worry would be an offer of around 40 million pound before a new contract is signed by Van Persia, which would create a quandary at The Emirates, and Barcelona and Manchester City might just be prepared to put Arsenal's stance to the test. (ANI)
