US High School claims record for having 16 sets of twins in same class

Washington, Apr 28 (ANI): 32 students from Staples High School in Westport are looking forward to set a world record for being the largest throng of twins in one class.

The current Guinness World Record of 13 is held by Pomperaug High School in Southbury, Connecticut.

The twins will have to submit their birth certificates, and get school officials to confirm that they are all in the same class, the Daily Mail reported.

If their claim proves true they could be holding the title by the end of the academic year, a prospect that has both shocked and thrilled students, parents and teachers alike. (ANI)
