Doha, April 28 (IANS) India's Pankaj Advani and national champion Aditya Mehta entered the final of the Asian Snooker Championship here Saturday to set up an intriguing title clash.
In the semi-finals, Advani, the 26-year old Bangalorean, overcame Thailand's Noppon Saengkham 6-4 while 26-year-old Mehta from Mumbai upset reigning IBSF world champion Hossain Vafaei Ayouri of Iran 6-3.
Earlier in the day, Advani defeated Iran's Ehsan Heydari 5-0 and Mehta beat Afghan veteran Saleh Ahmed 5-2 in their quarter-final matches.
