Lahore, Apr 28 (ANI): Blind, deaf and dumb workers of the banned Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) staged a demonstration outside Lahore Press Club to condemn Washington for putting a 10 million dollar bounty on JuD chief Hafiz Saeed for his alleged involvement in the Mumbai attacks in 2008.
The disabled JuD workers displayed banners, placards and posters inscribed with slogans against the U.S. and their allies. They protested against the silence of the rulers of the Muslim world over the issue and their alleged role in abetting the U.S. in its crimes against humanity, The Nation reported.
They said Washington, Delhi and Tel Aviv were out to destroy Pakistan and capture its nuclear assets. They also appealed to likeminded forces to join hands against the treachery of the rulers who they alleged were abetting the US war crimes by planning to restore NATO supplies.
JuD leaders Athar Aziz, Hafiz Muhammad Usman, Ghazi Abdul Rasheed, Naseer Akbar, Amjad Ali, Abdullah and others were present at the occasion. (ANI)
