New Delhi, April 25 (IANS) After light rain in the night, the capital woke up to a pleasant and sunny Wednesday morning with the minimum temperature settling at 21.4 degrees Celsius, two notches below average for the season. The met department has forecast a clear day ahead.
According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), a clear and sunny day is in store. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 37 degrees Celsius mark.
"The city experienced light rainfall of 0.4 mm from late Monday night till 8.30 a.m. on Tuesday. The rain was caused due to western disturbances," an IMD official said.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 54 percent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature settled at an average of 37.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was two notches below above average at 21.5 degrees Celsius.
