Dominica, Apr 23 (ANI): With the third and final Test match set to take place at the Windsor Park in Dominica later this week, the West Indies are targeting top Australian run-scorer, Michael Hussey.
The West Indians are reportedly impressed with Hussey's performance on the field and believe he is the key Australian wicket to snap up.
"So far Hussey has always come in and played a crucial role. He always does well for Australia and its one area we'll be looking to put a stop to," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted skipper Darren Sammy, as saying.
Hussey takes the pride of being the Australia's leading run-scorer with 177 runs at an average of 44.25 this series.
"Once we have them five down, he seems to bat well with the lower order. So we'll be looking to get him out as quickly as possible. Like I said, we've executed our plans to the top order really well," Sammy added.
Australian captain Michael Clarke agreed that "Huss continues to play a big part in this team" and scored some vital runs throughout the series. We're looking for nothing different from Huss. Hopefully, he can continue to perform well and finish what has been a really good summer of Test cricket for us," Clarke said. (ANI)
