Beijing, April 22 (IANS) At least five people were killed after a fire broke out in a residential building in eastern China's Shandong province, officials said.
The accident took place Saturday morning in the coastal city of Qingdao, Xinhua reported.
One resident died after jumping from the building to escape, while the other four were suffocated to death by heavy smoke, the city's public security bureau said.
