Washington, April 21 (ANI): U.S. President Barack Obama has a substantial edge over presidential contender Mitt Romney in the presidential race in the states of Ohio and Florida, according to a poll.
According to a Fox News poll covering 757 voters, almost 45 percent of voters in Florida said that they would vote for Obama, while 43 percent preferred to vote for Romney, Politico reports.
In Florida, 52 percent of voters for Romney said that theirs would be a vote more against Obama than for Romney.
In Ohio, 63 percent voters said that their vote for Romney was more about voting against the president than for the former Massachusetts governor.
Among Obama voters, 75 percent in Florida and 71 percent in Ohio said their vote was more a vote for the president than against Romney.
However, in Ohio, where 606 voters were surveyed, 45 percent voters preferred to vote for Obama compared to 39 percent voters who preferred Romney, according to the poll. (ANI)
