Bin Laden's family may stay on in Pakistan for some more days

Islamabad, Apr 20(ANI): Pakistan could take several more days to deport former Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden's wife and children to Saudi Arabia, and perhaps Yemen, his brother-in-law has said.

The security forces had detained Bin Laden's three widows and two children after a secret US Special Forces raid killed the former in Abbottabad on May 2 last year.

A court had also sentenced them to 45 days in prison for illegally staying in the country and ordered their deportation once they completed their prison sentence, The Nation reports.

Yemen-born Amal Al-Sadeh, the youngest widow, and her four children were among the 16 people detained by Pakistani authorities after the May 2 raid that had killed Bin Laden. (ANI)
