London, April 16 (ANI): Over a third of workers spend longer in the office than they need to be in order to impress their boss, a poll has revealed.
Those quizzed admitted to staying late or arriving early by up to two hours in a bid to give the impression that they are more dedicated than their colleagues, the Daily Express reported.
But for more than a quarter, it is to do their job more effectively, according to officebroker.com, which carried out the poll.
Those putting in longer hours to impress their bosses often ended up idle - benefiting no one, said a spokesman for officebroker.com. (ANI)
