Beijing, April 11 (ANI): China's Foreign Ministry official has claimed that the 'country is the second largest economy, but not the second strongest nation.'
Assistant Foreign Minister Le Yucheng said that China was still a growing country with imbalanced developments.
According to The China Daily, Yucheng said that the country had many weak links that needed to be resolved, despite its remarkable progress, which he attributed to the Chinese people.
He stressed that China's fast development had brought many expected and unexpected problems to the country, which was required to be solved at the earliest.
Yucheng said that China's top job is to secure well-being of its 1.35 billion people.
He also stressed that China had always done its best to safeguard world peace, stability and development. (ANI)
