Madonna inspired Katy Perry's 3D movie

London, Apr 10 (ANI): Katy Perry has credited pop diva Madonna with inspiring her upcoming 3D concert movie.

The 27-year-old invited a camera crew to film her California Dreams Tour for Part Of Me, which will feature live footage and touch on personal issues including her failed marriage to Russell Brand.

The 'Firework' singer admits plans for the forthcoming documentary were inspired by the Material Girl and her 1991 film 'Madonna: Truth or Dare', which chronicled the pop icon's Blond Ambition World Tour.

"Madonna is everything to me, and that movie is amazing, because it caught her at a time when she was a bit more vulnerable," the Daily Express quoted her as telling Teen Vogue.

"I wanted to do that too, to capture a snapshot of who I am now so that I can remind myself what I've lost if I ever do become totally jaded," she added. (ANI)
