New Delhi, April 9 (IANS) Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari came to India with an open mind and expressed his opposition to terrorism in any form, union minister P.K. Bansal said Monday.
According to the minister for parliamentary affairs and water resources, Zardari was exuberant and not bogged down by anything.
"He came to India with an open mind. He was of the view that both the countries should work together with an open heart," Bansal told reporters on the sidelines of a function.
He had received Zardari, his son Bilawal Bhutto and other delegates at the airport Sunday.
"He (Zardari) expressed that he is against terrorism anywhere and in any form," he said.
Bansal said he had informal discussions on various topics with Interior Minister A. Rehman Malik, who accompanied Zardari.
Zardari was in India on a daylong visit. He had a luncheon meeting with Prime Minster Manmohan Singh before heading to the revered shrine of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti in Ajmer in Rajasthan.
