Johannesburg, Apr 9 (ANI): 'v3South African Sports Minister, Fikile Mbalula, will this week consider whether Cricket South Africa (CSA) has taken appropriate action after a ministerial inquiry into its finances.
Mbalula's spokesperson, Paena Galane, said the minister had met with CSA acting president Willie Basson, as the deadline loomed for the cricket body to respond to the inquiry committee's findings.
"We will respect that deadline, and the minister will then look at how CSA has responded to the Nicholson report as a whole. He will then apply his mind to their response," Sports24 quoted Galane, as saying.
The inquiry, led by retired Judge Chris Nicholson, had made recommendations, which were accepted by the CSA board last month. (ANI)
