New Delhi, Mar.27 (ANI): The Delhi High Court has asked the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to give its response to a plea filed by Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) lawmaker Kanimozhi to quash charges against her in connection with the 2G scam.
The high court said on Tuesday that it will now hear the matter on May 10 along with other 2G cases.
Kanimozhi, the daughter of former Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi, and former telecom minister A Raja, have been charged with criminal conspiracy, criminal breach of trust, forgery, accepting a bribe, and abetting bribery.
Kanimozhi, through the petition, said that she has been falsely implicated in the matter and there is no evidence of record to justify the charges against her.
Kanimozhi was granted bail by the Delhi High Court on November 28, 2011. (ANI)
