London, Mar 25(ANI): Liverpool are leading the race to sign yet another Suarez, this time it is Anderlecht's 20 million pound rated striker Matias Suarez.
Two other English clubs are reportedly interested in signing Suarez, one of them being West Bromwich Albion, and the other's name is not known yet.
Liverpool's financial strength would mean they are in a pole position to sign Suarez.
Liverpool's technical director Damien Comolli has watched Suarez in recent months, but was shocked to discover how much the Belgian club wants for Suarez Mark II.
Anderlecht manager Herman van Holsbeeck revealed that a host of teams are keen to buy Argentinean striker Suarez.
"There are 15 top clubs prepared to pay the money we want for Suarez and the fee could be higher than the money we received from Chelsea for Romelu Lukaku last year. Matias could have gone to Russia in the winter and also Juventus, but his wife Magali did not want to go," The Daily Mail quoted Van Holsbeeck, as saying.
"Do I think Suarez is worth more than Lukaku? Well, technically he is a better," he added. (ANI)
