New Delhi, March 23 (IANS) In another incident of road rage in the national capital, an autorickshaw driver was beaten to death after his three-wheeler hit an Innova car, leading to a fight, police said Friday.
Rajesh Kumar, who was in his late 30s, was beaten to death Thursday night in Vijay Vihar area of west Delhi, police said.
According to eyewitnesses, the auto hit an Innova car leading to a scuffle in which the driver was beaten to death. The people travelling in the car were reportedly drunk.
Police said two men have been arrested, but did not disclose the names.
"He was hit on his head by a stone, which led to his death... they were four people," Rajesh's brother Vinod Kumar said.
The incident comes as Home Minister P. Chidambaram expressed concern over growing incidents of road rage in the Rajya Sabha earlier this week.
