Washington, Mar 21 (ANI): Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's representative Cindy Guagenti has rubbished reports that the 'Jersey Shore' star was in a rehabilitation centre.
TMZ had earlier reported that Sorrentino was in rehab, but added that his representatives wouldn't confirm the news.
"Michael Sorrentino has spent the past several weeks at an undisclosed location for much-needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule," ABC News quoted Guagenti as saying.
Amidst the reports of his possible rehab stint, Sorrentino tweeted, "Don't believe everything you read or hear."
Like many members of the hard-partying 'Jersey Shore' cast, "The Situation" is paid handsomely for nightclub appearances - in some cases making up to 50,000 dollars just to show up.
MTV confirmed Monday that a sixth season of 'Jersey Shore' will be shot this summer with the original cast. (ANI)
