London, Mar 16(ANI): Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has said he would love to face his former club Chelsea in the final of the Champions League.
Mourinho said he still loves Chelsea, and if both the teams meet in the quarterfinals or the semifinals, it would be a very competitive tie.
"People can't understand how much I love Chelsea, and I know if I get them in the quarterfinals or the semi-finals, they would be great opponents," The Telegraph quoted Mourinho, as saying.
"I'm happy Chelsea have got through, but I'd love to play them in the final," he said.
Chelsea overcame the odds at Stamford Bridge to progress to the last eight, overcoming a 3-1 first-leg defeat in Napoli to go through 5-4 on aggregate.
But Real Madrid had no problems as such in progressing, as the beat CSKA Moscow 4-1 in the second leg of their last 16 tie, for a 5-2 aggregate win.
The quarterfinal draws for the Champions League would come out on Friday. (ANI)
