Nitish finds Railway Budget 'hopeless', an 'empty box'

Patna, Mar 14 (ANI): Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday called the Railway Budget 2012-13 presented by Dinesh Trivedi an empty box.

"It is a hopeless budget. He (Dinesh Trivedi) was speaking more because he was not speaking any substance. He should explain the safety thing clearly. It is an empty box," Kumar told media here.

"The progress of railway work in Bihar is slow. Either it is discrimination with Bihar or the whole national progress is so bad," he said.

"Today, the situation of the railways is bad. Accidents have started increasing nowhey did not concentrate on railway security. It's an unfortunate thingf this is the situation in the whole country, then it is unfortunatet's a budget in annexes. There is nothing for the public," he added

"The minister has raised fares, but he should not be so apologetic," said Kumar, a former railway minister. (ANI)
