Melbourne, Mar 13(ANI): Australian head cricket coach Mickey Arthur has reckoned that paceman Brett Lee's experience will be crucial for the upcoming West Indies series.
"Brett needs to lead by example. He needs to set the trend for us and let the other guys follow. Outside of Brett, it's still a fairly young and inexperienced attack ... Brett's the only one who's played here so he certainly needs to lead the way and share a lot of his experiences with the rest of the bowling attack," The Sydney Morning Herald quoted Arthur, as saying.
"I've never finished a series and gone on to another series straightaway. That's foreign and it's tough ... those are the challenges we face but that's part and parcel of touring. We've just got to make sure we've got the guys ready for that," he added.
Australia will conduct its first training session since arriving in the Caribbean at the Arnos Vale Cricket Ground in Kingstown today.
The venue will host the first three of five one-day matches. (ANI)
