New Delhi, Mar 12 (ANI): Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Monday ruled out the emergence of Third Front in the country.
" I have experienced the impact of third front. No single party is capable of coming to power with majority. There will be a coalition government for sure," he told media here.
"People try to come to power with majority but this is not happening. In coming times I can see that there will be coalition government," he added.
He further said: "Me and Samajwadi Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has supported Congress against communal parties. We will continue to support them against them."
Commenting on the prospects of mid-term polls, Yadav said: "I don't think there are chances of midterm poll. Government will complete its five years."
The mid-term polls issue gathered storm after Union Minister of Railways and Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Dinesh Trivedi said that if there was an anti-Congress wave in the country and the Samajwadi Party and the BJP wanted an early poll then Congress would have to respond.
His statement has caused concern in the Congress party
The Congress fared badly in three of the five states where elections were held, namely Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Goa. (ANI)
