London, Mar 5(ANI): Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho and Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola are likely to compete for the job of Chelsea manager's after the sacking of Andre Villas-Boas.
Blues legend Mourinho will insist the club sell Fernando Torres before returning to Stamford Bridge. Roman Abramovich reportedly wants Guardiola to replace Villas-Boas.
Chelsea's first ever Premier League defeat to West Bromwich Albion was the final nail in the Portuguese manager's coffin despite the Russian tycoon splashing out 13 million pounds to recruit him last summer, The Daily Star reports.
Guardiola has let it be known privately that he is disinclined to move to London since he is not interested in political games, which are usually played at Chelsea after being given such a free reign at Barcelona.
Abramovich reportedly has made the Spanish star manager his No.1 target as he seeks to win the Champions League.
If Guardiola can't be lured to Stamford Bridge this summer, then Abramovich will turn to Mourinho, who is regarded as a legend at the club, as he plans to quit Real Madrid for a return to England at the end of the season. (ANI)
