London, Mar 2 (ANI): An old South Wales woman was fined 75 pounds by a litter enforcer because a single strand of cotton had fallen from her glove.
The 71-year-old, Valerie George, was in a supermarket car park when the enforcer handed her the on-the-spot penalty.
"I couldn't believe my eyes. I was just an ordinary gran out shopping, not a lout throwing rubbish around," the Sun quoted her as saying.
"I asked the enforcement officer who was burly and rude, 'Are you really going to take 75-pound off an old age pensioner?
"I told him it was a complete accident but he said it but he said it was still litter and to take up the matter in court, " she added. (ANI)
