London, Mar 2 (ANI): Katie Holmes, who wowed onlookers as she debuted a brand new sleek look on the Oscars red carpet on Sunday night, went back to her old scruffy ways as she scraped her hair back into a greasy topknot on her way to dance class on Wednesday.
The 33-year-old actress, who flaunted her polished new fringe at the 84th Annual Academy Awards, had been spotted for the first time post the Oscars, reverting back to her heavy workout sessions in Los Angeles.
While Tom Cruise's wife had fooled fans into thinking she'd undergone a dramatic transformation by cutting her locks into the blunt style, it's now clear she was merely wearing a hairpiece for the glitzy ceremony.
The 'Batman Begins' star looked a far cry from the way she appeared at the weekend as she walked out in an odd looking white tunic by Hoss Intropia with red embroidered patterning, the Daily Mail reported.
She obviously didn't care what she looked like as she wore plain black leggings with some scuffed suede ankle boots.
Unlike her turn on the Oscars red carpet, on Wednesday she certainly hadn't spent hours preening herself in the mirror.
Her brunette hair was worn loose, before she scraped it back ready for action in the dance class.
It was a different story on Sunday, when the 'Wonder Boys' star turned up to the Vanity Fair post-Oscars party in a stylish navy blue Elie Saab embellished gown.
Although she was decked out in the stunning frock, all eyes moved upwards to admire her new hairdo.
She showed off her new look by wearing her hair tied back in a high ponytail, and accessorised her dress with a pretty diamond necklace and matching earrings.
However, the new style was clearly just a one off now that she's ditched the hair piece, along with her glamorous ensembles. (ANI)
