Washington, Feb 22 (ANI): Mick Jagger was visited by Barack Obama when the pop star was rehearsing for a White House concert celebrating blues music.
The Rolling Stones rocker tweeted Monday that the president "listened to a few tunes" during the rehearsal for Tuesday night's performance.
"Met President Obama who listened to a few tunes during rehearsal he seemed really relaxed and happy!" CBS News quoted Jagger as tweeting.
He also tweeted about how he got a 'lovely' tour of the West Wing.
"had first rehearsal at #whitehouse today and had a lovely tour of the West Wing," he said.
Jagger's girlfriend, fashion designer L'Wren Scott, also talked about the couple's encounter with Obama and their time at the White House.
"#whitehouse great doorway with a view feeling so blessed to have seen that historical path the colonnade walk
"#Whitehouse Happy Presidents day it was amazing to meet the President @MickJaggerwe loved every moment," she tweeted.
'In Performance at the White House: Red White and Blues', which will include performances from Jagger, Buddy Guy, BB King, Jeff Beck, Derek Trucks and Keb Mo, will be broadcast on February 27. (ANI)
