Islamabad, Feb 16(ANI): Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that stable Afghanistan is in his country's interest.
Gilani added that Pakistan would provide training to Afghan security officials., The News reports.
Afghan President Hamid Karzai took Pakistan into confidence about ongoing talks with Taliban groups.
The Pakistani delegation was led by Gilani, while the Afghan delegation was led by President Hamid Karzai.
It was also agreed during the talks that serious efforts would be made to solve the Afghan problem, while intelligence and security cooperation would be increased to secure the border.
Gilani had held a one on one meeting with Afghan President Hamid Karzai to discuss bilateral ties. (ANI)
