Washington, Feb 16 (ANI): Mena Suvari insists that she's "finally content" with her new life as a singleton, post her recent marriage split.
The American Beauty star filed for divorce from concert promoter Simone Sestito in January, two years after the couple wed in Vatican City, Italy.
Suvari is now opening up about the break-up to Boston Common magazine, but claims that the rumours suggesting her fame pushed the pair apart are unfounded.
"I don't let that affect my personal relationships," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
Instead, the 33-year-old actress hints that the split came after a little soul-searching.
"It's taken years to get to know myself. I had never really taken time to cultivate who I was. I've felt drained by it.
"But I feel like I'm really, finally content at this point in my life. I'm accepting of who I am and how diverse I am and honouring that. All of it," she added. (ANI)
