Whitney Houston's autopsy finds water in her lungs

Washington, Feb 13 (ANI): Whitney Houston's autopsy has revealed that she had water in her lungs when she died, according to reports.

However, law enforcement sources say that the medical examiner needs to find out exactly how much before it can be ruled whether she died as a result of drowning, Tmz.com reported.

Houston was found dead in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton on Saturday, and some reports claim that she was found in her bathtub.

Authorities cannot yet determine whether Houston died before she was submerged in the water or after. There is still a possibility that she was dead before she went under the water.

Although the singer's autopsy is complete, the cause of death cannot be determined until the toxicology results are back, which usually takes around 4 to 6 weeks.

Meanwhile, the autopsy results are on security hold, a coroner's spokesman said. (ANI)
