London, Feb 11(ANI): The Football Association faces more embarrassment with former manager Fabio Capello set to publicly rate the England players' performance at Euro 2012.
The infamous 'Capello Index' caused red faces after last year's World Cup when it shamed England players for the pathetic performances at the FIFA World Cup in South Africa last year.
Claiming to use a system developed using 'the expert eyes of Fabio, the index rated keeper Robert Green the worst, with an average of 51.67 out of 100. Striker Jermain Defoe came top on just 62.47, The Daily Star reports.
The index (www.capelloindex.com) has been inactive, with the last rating posted from the end of last season. But the site suggests Capello still supports the plan.
"The Capello Index, thanks to Fabio Capello, has benefited from the extreme knowledge and experience of such a successful manager," the site states.
"The Capello Index is therefore the first real official football player rating system capable of coherently evaluating the player performance in different leagues and countries," the site adds. (ANI)
