London, Feb 5(ANI): Chelsea striker Fernando Torres has said that he is happy with life at Stamford Bridge and has no desire to leave despite being linked to a host of other clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona and former club Atletico Madrid.
The Spaniard joined Chelsea from Liverpool last year during the January transfer window at an English record fee of 50 million pounds but has since been termed a flop after managing to score only five times since his move.
Despite the bad start, Torres says he is happy and content with life in London.
"Everything is good. After one year we are settled in London, enjoying the city and the facilities we have at the club," The Daily Star quoted Torres as saying.
He believes the team is getting better day-by-day and he is trying his best to get the right results.
Torres also revealed that his family has settled well in the past one year at the London based club.
"My family are happy which is the most important thing and I'm happy here. The team gets better every day," he said.
"We started the season with a new manager and some new players, so the atmosphere is very goodThe results have not been the best and could have been better. But we are trying very hard to find the right way and everything is improving," he added.
Torres will play in Sunday's home clash against champions Manchester United without a goal in 18 games for club and country. (ANI)
