London, Feb 4 (ANI): Uma Thurman was seen sporting fuchsia pink embellished Salwar Kameez complete with pink bindi on the sets of new TV show 'Smash', on Thursday.
Thurman's Bollywood-inspired look was completed with a silver and pink ornate necklace and pointed silver pumps, which was miles away from her coke-snorting character in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction, the role which catapulted her to fame back in 1994, the Sun reported.
The 41-year-old has had Bollywood dreams for a while now and has a deep connection to India.
She spent part of her childhood living in the Almora district in the Indian state of Uttarakhand and was named Uma by her dad, who is a Sanskrit scholar and a Tibetologist.
The 'Kill Bill' actress will feature in five episodes of the musical drama, which centres on the people on stage and behind the scenes during the creation of a Broadway musical.
Produced by Steven Spielberg, the series also stars Debra Messing, Anjelica Huston and British actor Jack Davenport. (ANI)
