London, Jan 23(ANI): England wicketkeeper Matt Prior has said that his side has decided not to discuss the controversy surrounding Pakistan -off spinner Saeed Ajmal's action, and added that the ICC will take a decision on it.
"It won't be an issue in the dressing room because we won't allow it to be. I don't think any good can come from looking at it or watching it. I think the guys have said, rightly, over the last couple of days that the ICC have procedures in place that will look after that and that's up to them to take care of the off-field stuff. We have to concentrate on what is coming down at us," The Telegraph quoted Prior, as saying.
"We've got to be very careful because the minute you start accusing people of doing things and playing differently it can be perceived as excuses as well. When you haven't performed, or performed like we have, the last thing you want to be doing is making excuses," he added.
His statement comes after England coach Andy Flower had said earlier that he did not endorse Ajmal's action.
Prior's team-mates had also echoed the same view.
"Our job is to deal with whatever bowler bowls, and the ICC's job is to police the game. I've got my own private views, and talking about them isn't going to help the situation," England skipper Andrew Strauss had said.
Jonathan Trott had also suggested that it was the ICC's job to decide on such issues. (ANI)
