Cape Town (S. Africa), Jan.16 (ANI): Cricket South Africa (CSA) has received another setback after its commercial manager, Richard Glover, resigned from his post.
According to The Rapport newspaper, Glover's resignation on Saturday was sudden and unexpected.
This news comes with the governing body struggling to obtain sponsors after it was rocked by a bonus scandal involving missing millions.
Sports24 reports that Glover was appointed by CSA in May 2010 after he worked in the United Kingdom for more than a decade.
During that time he also worked at the world-renowned soccer club, Arsenal.
Since his appointment in 2010, Glover - who hails from Bloemfontein - was in charge of obtaining sponsors for CSA.
The reasons for Glover's departure were that he received another work opportunity "which he could not turn down". (ANI)
